Welcome to MultiForge Lab. These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of the MultiForge Lab website and your purchase or use of MultiForge Lab products and services.
By accessing or using the MultiForge Lab website, or by placing an order through the website, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree with these Terms, please do not use the website or place an order.
1. Website Use
The MultiForge Lab website is provided for lawful personal, shopping, informational, and communication purposes.
You agree not to:
- Violate any applicable law or regulation.
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the website, its systems, accounts, or data.
- Interfere with or disrupt website operation.
- Introduce malicious code, malware, viruses, or other harmful material.
- Attempt to bypass security or access controls.
- Use automated tools or methods to access or extract website content in violation of these Terms.
- Scrape, harvest, copy, or systematically collect website content except as expressly permitted.
- Use MultiForge Lab content or intellectual property to create a competing business, product, service, catalog, marketplace, or database.
- Impersonate MultiForge Lab or misrepresent your relationship with MultiForge Lab.
MultiForge Lab reserves the right to restrict or terminate access to the website when reasonably necessary to protect the website, its users, its intellectual property, or its business.
Use of the website does not grant you ownership of any MultiForge Lab intellectual property or rights beyond those expressly provided in these Terms.
2. Products, Pricing & Availability
MultiForge Lab makes reasonable efforts to ensure that product descriptions, photographs, dimensions, colors, pricing, and other product information displayed on the website are accurate and current.
Because our products are individually 3D printed and may be hand-finished or hand-painted, minor variations between individual products are normal. Product photographs are intended to provide a representative example and may vary slightly from the actual item due to lighting, photography, display settings, materials, and individual finishing.
Product availability may change without notice. Unless otherwise stated, MultiForge Lab only lists products that are finished, inspected, and available for shipment.
Prices are subject to change without notice. Price changes will not affect an order that has already been successfully placed and accepted, except where an obvious pricing or listing error has occurred.
In the event of an obvious error in a product description, price, photograph, availability, or other listing information, MultiForge Lab reserves the right to correct the error. If an error materially affects an order, MultiForge Lab may contact the customer to determine whether the order can be fulfilled as intended or cancel the affected order and provide any refund required by applicable law.
MultiForge Lab does not guarantee that every product, color, variation, or option displayed on the website will remain available.
3. Orders & Payment
When placing an order, you agree to provide accurate and complete information necessary to process and fulfill your order.
Submitting an order constitutes a request to purchase the selected product. An order is considered accepted once payment has been successfully processed and MultiForge Lab has accepted the order for fulfillment.
MultiForge Lab reserves the right to decline or cancel an order when reasonably necessary, including situations involving:
- An obvious pricing or listing error
- Product availability issues
- Suspected fraudulent or unauthorized transactions
- Incorrect or incomplete customer information that prevents fulfillment
- Technical errors that resulted in an incorrect order
- Other circumstances that prevent MultiForge Lab from reasonably fulfilling the order as placed
If MultiForge Lab cancels an order after payment has been received, any refund required for the cancelled order will be issued to the original payment method.
Customers are responsible for reviewing their order information before completing checkout and for providing accurate shipping and contact information.
MultiForge Lab is not responsible for delays, losses, or additional costs resulting from incorrect or incomplete information provided by the customer.
Payment processing may be handled by third-party payment providers. Payment transactions may be subject to the terms and policies of those providers.
4. Order Cancellations
Customers may cancel an order at any time before a shipping label has been created and paid for.
To request a cancellation, contact Jason@multiforgelab.com as soon as possible and include your order number.
Once a shipping label has been created and paid for, the order has entered the shipping process and cancellations are no longer accepted under MultiForge Lab’s standard cancellation policy.
Orders that have entered the shipping process are subject to the MultiForge Lab Return & Exchange Policy after delivery.
Nothing in this section limits any cancellation, refund, or other rights required by applicable federal or state law.
5. Shipping & Delivery
MultiForge Lab only lists products that are finished, inspected, and ready to ship unless otherwise stated.
Orders are normally shipped the same business day when placed before the order cutoff displayed on the applicable product listing. Orders placed after the listed cutoff will normally ship on the next available business day.
Please allow up to 3 business days for order processing and shipment. This provides additional processing time in the event of an unexpected circumstance that prevents an order from being shipped during the normal same-day shipping schedule.
The 3-business-day processing period does not include carrier transit time.
Once an order has been transferred to the shipping carrier, delivery times and delays are outside the direct control of MultiForge Lab. Carrier delays, weather, transportation disruptions, incorrect addresses, or other circumstances outside our control may affect delivery times.
Customers are responsible for providing an accurate and complete shipping address at checkout. MultiForge Lab is not responsible for delays, additional shipping charges, or lost packages resulting from an incorrect or incomplete address provided by the customer.
If an order is returned to MultiForge Lab because of an incorrect address or failure to accept delivery, additional shipping charges may apply before the order can be shipped again.
Nothing in this section limits any shipping, cancellation, refund, or other rights required by applicable federal or state law.
6. Returns & Exchanges
Returns and exchanges are governed by the separate MultiForge Lab Return & Exchange Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms.
MultiForge Lab does not accept returns for change of mind, buyer’s remorse, or customer preference.
Approved claims involving shipping damage, confirmed manufacturing defects, or incorrectly shipped items are generally resolved through replacement of the original item in accordance with the Return & Exchange Policy.
7. Intellectual Property & Design Rights
All original designs and creative works created or owned by MultiForge Lab remain the intellectual property of MultiForge Lab or their respective rights holders.
This includes, but is not limited to:
- 3D models
- STL files
- Digital files
- Product designs
- Artwork
- Graphics
- Photographs
- Product descriptions
- Logos
- Branding
- Website content
- Other original creative materials
Purchasing a physical product or digital file does not transfer ownership of the underlying design or intellectual property.
MultiForge Lab retains all applicable rights, title, and interest in its original designs and intellectual property except where those rights are expressly transferred in a separate written agreement signed by MultiForge Lab.
No purchase, download, license, or possession of a MultiForge Lab product or digital file grants permission to reproduce, distribute, commercially exploit, or claim ownership of the underlying design unless expressly authorized in writing.
8. Physical Products & Reproduction
Purchase of a physical MultiForge Lab product transfers ownership of that physical item only.
Customers may display, collect, gift, resell, modify, or otherwise dispose of their legitimately purchased physical item as they choose, subject to applicable law.
However, ownership of a physical product does not grant permission to reproduce the product or its underlying design.
Without prior written permission from MultiForge Lab, customers may not reproduce a MultiForge Lab design by 3D scanning, photogrammetry, photography, measurements, reverse engineering, AI-assisted reconstruction, or any other method for the purpose of creating additional copies, digital models, derivative products, or commercial reproductions.
9. 3D Scanning & Digital Recreation
Without prior written permission from MultiForge Lab, customers may not use 3D scanners, photogrammetry, LiDAR, structured-light scanners, depth scanners, cameras, measurements, reverse-engineering equipment, AI tools, image-to-3D services, or similar technologies or processes to recreate a MultiForge Lab design for reproduction, distribution, or commercial use.
This prohibition applies regardless of the technology or process used to create the digital representation.
Changing the file format, scaling the model, modifying portions of the model, or making other alterations does not by itself transfer ownership of the underlying design or create authorization to reproduce or distribute it.
10. Image-Based Reconstruction
MultiForge Lab photographs and other visual representations of its products are provided for viewing, identification, promotional, and informational purposes.
Without prior written permission, customers and website visitors may not use MultiForge Lab photographs, screenshots, screen captures, downloaded images, photographs of displays, or other visual representations of our products to:
- Generate or reconstruct a 3D model
- Use image-to-3D, photo-to-3D, AI reconstruction, photogrammetry, or similar technology to recreate a design
- Reverse engineer or recreate a product for manufacturing
- Create a digital model substantially based on a MultiForge Lab product for distribution or commercial use
This restriction applies regardless of how the visual material was obtained.
Ordinary personal use of product photographs, including viewing, sharing a product page, discussing a product, or photographing a legitimately purchased physical item, is permitted provided it is not used to reproduce or commercially exploit the underlying design.
11. Digital Files & STL License
Any digital file offered by MultiForge Lab, including STL files and other 3D-printable files, is licensed, not sold.
Unless a separate written license states otherwise, digital files are licensed for personal, non-commercial use only.
The purchaser may download and store the file and create physical copies for their own personal use. The purchaser may also modify the file for their own personal, non-commercial use.
Without written permission from MultiForge Lab, the purchaser may not:
- Resell, share, transfer, distribute, or give away the digital file
- Upload the file to a website, marketplace, file-sharing service, repository, social media platform, or other public or private service
- Sell physical products produced from the file
- Give away, donate, gift, trade, or otherwise distribute physical copies produced from the file
- Produce copies for another person, business, organization, club, event, charity, fundraiser, or group
- Offer printing services using the file
- Use the design for promotional products, business purposes, merchandise, prizes, or giveaways
- Incorporate the design into another product intended for distribution or commercial use
- Distribute remixes, modifications, derivatives, or substantially similar digital models based on the design
- Claim ownership of the original design or a derivative version
Distribution is prohibited regardless of whether money is exchanged. A free, donated, gifted, traded, or otherwise unpaid copy is still a reproduction and distribution of the MultiForge Lab design and is outside the personal-use license.
Modifying a digital file for personal use does not transfer ownership of the underlying design or grant permission to distribute or commercially use the modified version.
Commercial production or other uses beyond the personal-use license require prior written permission from MultiForge Lab and may require a separate commercial license.
12. Commercial Use & Distribution
Unless MultiForge Lab has provided a separate written commercial license, MultiForge Lab digital files may not be used to manufacture products for sale, trade, promotional use, business use, or other commercial purposes.
This includes producing products:
- For sale
- For another person or business
- As promotional merchandise
- As prizes or giveaways
- For events or organizations
- For charities or fundraisers
- As part of a printing service
- For distribution to any group or audience
Commercial intent is not required for distribution to violate the personal-use license.
A physical copy produced from a MultiForge Lab digital file may not be distributed to another person unless MultiForge Lab has expressly granted permission in writing.
A separate commercial or distribution license may be available from MultiForge Lab. Such rights exist only when expressly granted in writing and may be subject to additional terms, limitations, and fees.
13. Website Scraping & Automated Extraction
MultiForge Lab website content is protected by applicable intellectual-property laws and remains the property of MultiForge Lab or its respective rights holders.
Without prior written permission, users may not use automated systems, bots, crawlers, scrapers, data-mining tools, AI extraction tools, or other automated or systematic methods to copy, download, collect, harvest, reproduce, or extract MultiForge Lab content.
This includes systematic collection of:
- Product photographs and images
- Product descriptions and written content
- Product specifications and catalog information
- Graphics, artwork, logos, and branding
- Product designs and design-related information
- Pricing and product catalogs
- Other original website content or digital assets
Users may not use extracted MultiForge Lab content to create a competing website, product catalog, marketplace, database, service, or other substantially similar resource.
The prohibition on automated scraping does not prevent ordinary website browsing, legitimate search-engine indexing, accessibility tools, or other activities permitted by applicable law.
Copying or reproducing substantial portions of MultiForge Lab website content, images, designs, or other intellectual property without permission is prohibited regardless of whether the copying is performed manually or through automated means.
MultiForge Lab may use reasonable technical measures to restrict unauthorized automated access, scraping, downloading, or extraction of website content.
14. Unauthorized Use & Enforcement
Any use of MultiForge Lab intellectual property outside the permissions granted by these Terms or a separate written license is unauthorized.
Violation of a digital-file license may result in immediate termination of the license. Upon termination, the licensee must cease using the digital file and any unauthorized copies or derivatives and must not continue to reproduce, distribute, or commercially exploit the design.
MultiForge Lab reserves all rights and remedies available under applicable law regarding unauthorized copying, reproduction, distribution, scanning, digital recreation, scraping, or other infringement of its intellectual property.
MultiForge Lab may request removal of unauthorized copies, listings, files, images, or other infringing material and may pursue additional remedies available under applicable law.
15. Customer Content & Submissions
MultiForge Lab may allow customers and website visitors to submit or post content, including product reviews, comments, photographs, videos, feedback, suggestions, or other materials.
By submitting content to MultiForge Lab, you represent that:
- You have the right to submit the content.
- The content does not knowingly violate another person’s intellectual-property, privacy, or other legal rights.
- The content does not contain unlawful, threatening, abusive, defamatory, obscene, or fraudulent material.
- The content does not contain malicious software, viruses, or other harmful material.
- The content is not submitted for the purpose of advertising or promoting an unrelated business, product, or service.
You retain ownership of content you submit.
However, by submitting content to MultiForge Lab, you grant MultiForge Lab a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to use, reproduce, display, publish, modify, and distribute that content for purposes related to operating, promoting, and improving MultiForge Lab and its products.
This may include displaying customer reviews, photographs, or other submitted content on the MultiForge Lab website, social media, marketing materials, advertisements, or other MultiForge Lab promotional channels.
MultiForge Lab is not obligated to publish or retain submitted content and may remove or decline to publish content at its discretion.
You agree not to submit content that impersonates another person, falsely represents an experience, or attempts to manipulate reviews or ratings.
MultiForge Lab does not claim ownership of customer-submitted content solely because it was submitted to us.
16. Compliance With Laws & Safe Use
Customers are responsible for using MultiForge Lab products in compliance with all applicable federal, state, county, municipal, and local laws, regulations, and ordinances.
MultiForge Lab products may be designed or marketed for use as dashboard or vehicle accessories; however, laws governing the placement of objects, decorations, accessories, or other items inside or on a vehicle may vary by jurisdiction and may change over time.
MultiForge Lab does not represent or guarantee that placement or use of a particular product in or on a vehicle is legal in every jurisdiction.
Before using a MultiForge Lab product in a vehicle, customers are responsible for determining whether the intended placement and use is permitted by the laws applicable to them.
Customers must not place or use a product in a manner that:
- Obstructs or interferes with the driver’s view
- Interferes with vehicle controls, pedals, airbags, safety equipment, or other vehicle systems
- Creates an unsafe driving condition
- Violates applicable law or regulation
If the use or placement of a MultiForge Lab product is prohibited or restricted in a particular jurisdiction, the customer is responsible for complying with that restriction, including removing or relocating the product as necessary.
MultiForge Lab is not responsible for fines, citations, penalties, accidents, property damage, injuries, or other consequences resulting from a customer’s failure to comply with applicable laws or from improper placement or use of a product.
17. Disclaimers & Limitation of Liability
MultiForge Lab makes reasonable efforts to ensure that its products and website are accurately described, properly prepared, and operated as intended. However, to the extent permitted by applicable law, the website and its content are provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis.
Because MultiForge Lab products are individually 3D printed and may be hand-finished or hand-painted, minor variations in appearance, finish, color, and texture are normal.
Customers are responsible for using products appropriately and in a manner consistent with their intended purpose.
MultiForge Lab is not responsible for damage resulting from misuse, improper installation or placement, modification, alteration, neglect, accidents, excessive force, or use contrary to the product’s intended purpose.
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, MultiForge Lab and its owners, operators, employees, and representatives will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from the use of the website or products.
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, MultiForge Lab’s total liability arising from a purchase will not exceed the amount actually paid by the customer for the specific product giving rise to the claim.
Nothing in these Terms is intended to exclude or limit liability that cannot legally be excluded or limited under applicable law.
18. Indemnification
To the extent permitted by applicable law, you agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless MultiForge Lab and its owners, operators, employees, and representatives from claims, damages, losses, liabilities, costs, and reasonable expenses arising from:
- Your violation of these Terms
- Your violation of applicable laws or regulations
- Your unauthorized use, reproduction, distribution, or commercial exploitation of MultiForge Lab products, designs, digital files, or other intellectual property
- Your misuse of the MultiForge Lab website
- Your violation of another person’s rights
- Your negligent, unlawful, or intentional actions in connection with your use of the website or MultiForge Lab products
This provision does not require you to indemnify MultiForge Lab for claims caused by MultiForge Lab’s own negligence, intentional misconduct, or other circumstances where indemnification cannot legally be required.
MultiForge Lab reserves the right to assume control of the defense of a matter subject to indemnification, and you agree to reasonably cooperate with that defense.
19. Privacy
Your use of the MultiForge Lab website is also subject to the MultiForge Lab Privacy Policy.
The Privacy Policy explains what information MultiForge Lab may collect, how that information may be used, how it may be protected, and the choices available to you regarding your information.
The Privacy Policy is incorporated into these Terms by reference.
20. Third-Party Services & Links
The MultiForge Lab website may use third-party services to support website hosting, payment processing, shipping, communications, analytics, security, and other business functions.
These third-party services may have their own terms, conditions, privacy policies, and other requirements.
MultiForge Lab is not responsible for the independent policies, practices, availability, security, or content of third-party services that are outside our control.
The MultiForge Lab website may also contain links to third-party websites or services. These links are provided for convenience and do not constitute an endorsement, guarantee, or representation regarding the third party or its products or services.
MultiForge Lab is not responsible for the content, accuracy, availability, security, or practices of third-party websites or services.
21. Changes to These Terms
MultiForge Lab may update or modify these Terms from time to time as the website, products, services, or business practices change or as required by applicable law.
When changes are made, the updated Terms will be posted on the MultiForge Lab website with a revised Effective Date.
Your continued use of the website after updated Terms are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms, to the extent permitted by applicable law.
Changes will not retroactively alter the terms governing a completed purchase or other transaction unless required by law.
22. Governing Law & Disputes
These Terms and transactions with MultiForge Lab are governed by the laws of the State of Missouri, except to the extent that applicable federal or state law requires otherwise.
Any dispute arising from or relating to these Terms, the MultiForge Lab website, or a purchase from MultiForge Lab will be handled in accordance with applicable law.
Nothing in these Terms prevents a customer from exercising rights or pursuing remedies that cannot legally be waived or restricted under the laws applicable to the customer’s transaction.
Before pursuing formal legal action, MultiForge Lab encourages customers to contact us at Jason@multiforgelab.com so that we may have an opportunity to resolve the matter directly.
If a dispute cannot be resolved informally, the parties may pursue any remedies and proceedings available under applicable law.
23. General Terms
Severability
If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid, unlawful, or unenforceable, that provision will be interpreted or limited to the minimum extent necessary, and the remaining provisions will remain in full force and effect.
No Waiver
If MultiForge Lab does not immediately enforce a provision of these Terms, that does not constitute a waiver of our right to enforce that provision in the future.
Entire Agreement
These Terms, together with the MultiForge Lab Privacy Policy, Return & Exchange Policy, Shipping Policy, and any other policies or agreements expressly incorporated into them, constitute the entire agreement between you and MultiForge Lab regarding your use of the website and applicable purchases, except where a separate written agreement applies.
Assignment
You may not transfer or assign your rights or obligations under these Terms without the prior written consent of MultiForge Lab. MultiForge Lab may transfer or assign its rights and obligations under these Terms in connection with a business reorganization, sale, merger, acquisition, or transfer of substantially all of its business or assets.
